Yea that's the plan. Hopefully by next weekend I can start on that.

nice update
so i started by cutting the fender. tjen shaping it to barely clear the tire.
ive never seen this done on a bug before so i wasnt sure how it would work. but my plan had worked. i felt so accomplished
this is just a practice run, im going to buy new fenders and do this nicer and make the cuts higher/shape them alittle different. but all in all this is just about the look i was going for
i was so excited to throw the wheel on.
i also took a couple pics of the interior while i was out there. its not complete, but its good enough for now.

My very close friend has a '64 hes working on at the moment, those cars look like great fun.
