Cheers dudes, UpperClass I agree man, always nice to see some good shit coming out of home. Especially since the laws are trying to strangle any mod on a car these days. Thanks Carfreak, the wheels are a common choice but I have always wanted black RPF1's so I just went with my gut, hopefully I'll get the rest of the car standing out from the rest in different ways.

Thanks man, definitely stoked with the wheels. Can be a little tricky finding wheels that clear the Brembos up front, this size and offset clears well and I think they just suit the car in general

Speaking of wheels here's an artsy one, I know I know, wheel gap haha.. This angle makes it look bigger than it is though. The only way that gap will shrink is when my tyres get bigger, it still scrubs when I'm hard on the brakes into a corner and I'm not giving up any drivability. Still looks good I think..

So pulled the headliner today, was not fun trying to fit it out the door. Then covered it in some micro suede, firstly chose the wrong adhesive and made it a real shit to work with. Farked up numerous things but finally got it done, will do A, B and C pillars tomorrow and get it all back in the car. Will look nice with the rest of the black interior I think, just need to figure out how I'm going to turn all the grey bits and pieces black (visors, 'oh shit' handles, dome light surround) ...

What do you think? Is covering the headliners with suede a thing a noob can do or does it require some previous practice?

I have never done this sort of thing before and I got it done and it looks good. I did go for a ride on the roller coaster of emotion though, excitement, nervousness, frustration, disappointment, sadness, perseverance, excitement, relief, happiness. To avoid that, I would say you should buy good quality spray on adhesive, painting it on takes ages and sucks and shit gets everywhere. When spraying on said adhesive, lay it on lightly so it doesn't soak through the material, especially important when working with suede. Finally just get into it and give it a go, the biggest hurdle is wondering whether to start or not, once your in it, there's no going back and you just find ways to work it out. Good luck!

                          Thanks mate!

I am still wondering if using the spray adhesive or these new fancy self adhesive suede you can get from eBay and co.

And yes, I was asking you because your result looks stunning.

No worries mate, the spray on adhesive is easy to use, just don't use too much. Also gives you a bigger choice of colours and fabrics
