Wouldn't it be a DA6? Also interested if you're going to post a build thread for the new car.

It's a converted car, complete firewall conversion done down in Florida, it wasn't a cut-corners build, they even bothered to retain A/C.

As far as a build thread, I guess I'll do one just as a place to organize my thoughts. Been steady parting the hatch out to build funds to tear into this thing. When I pull the engine / trans I'll begin the build thread.

It's an Xsi replica, I just call it a DA9 because it's what people know it as. I don't even know what to call it considering it's a conversion.

So since it's RHD that means you could actually run a Jackson Racing supercharger without it hitting the brake master cylinder

              • Idk how to embed YT videos in forums anymore (noob) but that's the final video of the shoot for the hatch.

                RIP

(front bumper is just placed on there, hence why it's falling off lol)

it's a toilet but it's already converted to OBD1 afaik (ecu pigtails are obd1), so that's a major plus. Air should be gone tomorrow so progress on the DA should begin within a week.

I'll toss a new thread up. Pulled the axles, shift linkage, and got the crane all hooked up today to pull the LSV out. Had to stop to go get an engine stand though so I called it a night. I'll have a new thread up once the engine is on the stand.
