  • Fourth Time's the Charm - Another Air Hatch

Insurance paid out for my totaled RSX (r.i.p.) and it's being sold off as I type this. Saved all the air ride etc. This should be interesting.

Fourth 96-00 Civic. Time to make this one not suck.

    Goals:
    - Air out.
    - Drag floor pan.
    - Not poopy wheels.

I love the Enkei 92's. It's a shame I can only find the gold centers in 15 inch though.

Sold off my Sparco from my previous car. Traded it to a good buddy for a set of pretty minty Tenzo R seats. Really comfy and reclinable for daily driving. No more fixed back 4-pt harness haha. Ordered up headlights.

Also picked up a used but freshly rebuilt set of AirLift front air struts. Hunting for rears now. Should have the car on the road with a valid sticker by next friday and sanding it down for paint and tearing it apart for air the following weekend / week.

Ordering rear quarter panels as well as mine are super crusty. This is the cheapest car I've ever owned and I already absolutely love it. BAE-SE model. No factory AC or PS.

Found a sweet factory Honda casette deck at the local Honda grave site. Why not.

Will have better pics soon. You guys aren't seeing the whole car. She hood rat.

Yes, it was. Toward the end at least.

Well I guess pictures keep the ball rolling. Still ordering stuff and figuring life out. What color to paint car???????????????????????????? taking suggestionz...

Literally ready to go mud bogging. I can likely out-off road half the bro trucks in my local area.

                          Retro as h*ck

You plan on doing extensive suspension modification up front? Or run really small wheels? The suspension on these 6th gen civics dont allow you to lay frame/pan.

On my 99 civic hatch I am on 195/40/16 tires (already a relatively small tire) and my jack points are 1.75 inches from the ground.
I could MAYBE get another 0.25 lower if I were to just remove the springs and the let the A arms rest on the shock towers.
The A arms already hit the shock towers just from me getting in my car.

I would be really interested if you could pull this off. Good luck!
