Thanks guys. The cast welder making and shipping my forks also does spindles. If required I shall notch my frame as required and send my spindles out to be shortened 2". Scored at the junkyard today - mint oem 50/50 tails.
Will be removing the interior for air ride this weekend.

And you are coming from 195/45/r15 if I understand correctly. That would gain you 0.53 inches. BTW here is the calculator I am using. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc...5r15-165-45r15
Also drop forks (Im not trying to say to not get them) arent going to solve the biggest problem, and that is the A arms hitting the shock towers.
Cutting a hole in the top of the shock towers does not gain you any more suspension travel they way people say it does.
I cut that section out on one of my shock towers (just like shown in your pic) and was pissed to find out that all it ended up doing was creating a hole in my engine compartment.I gained zero suspension travel.
The section at the top is a thin area of metal that will self clearance itself in no time and look much better than a hole cut in the shock tower.
The problem is the A arms hit further down the A arm, toward the pivot point.
There is one caveat to not cutting out the shock towers, if you are running a camber kit (the upper control arm kind) cutting out that area at the top is beneficial since all the camber kits I have seen are much larger in the ball joint area of the A arm.
So when you say chop your strut towers out, do you mean something more than that portion at the top where the tip of A arm hit? Or something more substantial.
Im sorry if I sound cynical, but I sat and looked and studied the suspension on my car for hours trying to figure out a relatively easy way to gain more travel and just couldnt see it.
I really really hope you can pull this off, and I can learn a new trick or two to get lower. Best of luck!
This is kind of motivating me to jack my car up and look again to see if I can come up with something.

Also had some stickers that were going to complete the rear window of the RSX. Decided against the kiddy window stickers for this car, and I sure wasn't letting them go to waste.

You plan on doing extensive suspension modification up front? Or run really small wheels? The suspension on these 6th gen civics dont allow you to lay frame/pan.
On my 99 civic hatch I am on 195/40/16 tires (already a relatively small tire) and my jack points are 1.75 inches from the ground.
I could MAYBE get another 0.25 lower if I were to just remove the springs and the let the A arms rest on the shock towers.
The A arms already hit the shock towers just from me getting in my car.
