build is still coming along, no serious progress to make mention of, just going to go for a clean single jingle bay. made a fair bit of beans $$$$$ on the turbo kit sale which is good. it was all a dream..... dame.

Well your pedal effort will be increased if you don't run a booster. It just might take more effort to stop not necessarily more force but who needs good brakes when you look so good driving lol

deleted the brake booster. I've never driven a car with manual brakes before and I hope it doesn't suck. Worst case I'm looking at grabbing EX brakes and a larger master, but meh.

Larger master will make pedal effort harder... Smaller has less effort.

I'm gonna run the stock MC and see what's good. If it's truly unsafe or something I'll look into a Wilwood or an E30 MC retrofit. Not trying to make this car unsafe to STOP...

I'm into this booster delete for 15$ at the moment, I like to fabricate stuff with the bros as much as possible, that's what I like to keep this build about - poor fabrication done in my mom's garage spending as little smackers as possible haha

Car has under 1,500 miles on brand new front pads and rotors, the master cylinder is in perfect working order, I'm not too concerned; if brakes come questionable I'll immediately upgrade the master cyl, and bump up to EX front calipers/rotors/pads, and stainless braided lines. It's a 1900lb Civic, I'm not going to jump the gun right away

I understand. If you use the stock master it will require much more force to press the pedal to get the same stopping power. I mean force like bracing yourself on the steering wheel and pulling your body down. In the event that you have to stop immediately, applying that much force is not easy.

Using a smaller Wilwood master would be the cheapest and easiest way to go.

If you are removing your HVAC just move your MC under the dash like the mini truck guys do. There is also a thread on vwvortex of a guy doing one in a Rabbit I think. Just an idea.
