Thanks guys! This has been a fun build so far.

They have poly bushings on the frame rail side of both mounts. They aren't solid, but I do have to agree with you about it vibrating a lot. I am expecting it. haha

Had a chance to make a little intake manifold progress.

Ignore the numbers on the runners. Their original positions changed.

Cool build ! bling factor 10x for the intake and the exhaust.
I would also fabricate some support bracketry for both manifolds.

Man this build and your Audi are equally as insane. You are one hell of a gifted fabricator. Can't wait to see the end result for both cars.

Thanks for the compliments! I have plenty to learn in world of fabrication. I always like a good challenge. Body work is my next passion. I can't wait to get to the paint prep and spraying portion of the build. I was just about to get started on it when the pan busted.

I definitely plan to brace the exhaust, haven't really thought about the intake. I will make it happen too. Thanks for bringing it up.

I have been missing the thing a lot lately. Looking through picture of it right before the incident made me want to post these.

I have a turbo front end on it's way.

                    Manifold progress

Smoothing the transition from the plenum bottom into the ports.

I have been busy with work, but did get this back from the welder last night. I did a quick clean up and bolted the rail to it. I can start collecting the rest of the parts for the fuel system and intercooler/piping.

I am building an addition on my garage. It will be getting cold here on CO sooner than later. This will give me a place to dig deeper into the build through the winter. I am going to move forward with a full custom restoration. Finishing the motor and components come first.

My ig is 46_2. Thanks for following! It helps keep me motivated.
