Progress of my daily e39

First update here in a few days:

Today I got my Thayer Motorsports control arms installed, as well as dialing the fitment and lowering it. These rear tires were brand new 1200 miles ago, so Id say an alignment is pretty necessary.



Heres a quick picture I snapped tonight of the car to hold you guys over until I can get some real pictures taken of it.



Excuse the dirt, the forecast for the next few days is rain. Saturday the car will get some much needed cleaning and detailing in preparation for one of my favorite shows, Cult Classic in Coopersburg, PA. I should also have some good pictures by then to update with.

Next update after Sunday will be my new brakes. Ordered pads and rotors this morning which should be arriving the middle of next week.

I went out shooting with a friend tonight for a little and have a few new pictures.





The brake kit I ordered yesterday will be arriving Monday, and I should be installing them on Wednesday.

Thanks, I couldnt agree more. Im super happy with the outcome of everything. And as opposed to stock I actually enjoy driving the car now.

Well, after Cult Classic I had realized that my rear tires were completely shot, and showing cords, so some things needed to happen. That night I ordered the new thrust arms, which should be arriving today, as well as new tires, which should be arriving by the end of the week. Currently due to the tires and alignment being so bad, the car is basically undrivable until I install thrust arms, as well as brakes which arrived monday, and mount the new tires.

Tonight I should be starting on the brakes and thrust arms, and the tires are already in Pennsylvania, so I am hoping Ill have them by Friday and can get the new tires mounted, and maybe an alignment Friday after work.

Heres a picture from the other day, before cult classic with my buddys e28. I will try to supply you guys with some updates as I get these few things done.

Thanks man. Yours looked good as well. Alot less BMWs this year than from what I remember of previous years. Cant wait to see how yours comes along the next time I see it.

Im not sure if I can commit to a cage haha. Its my daily, so having more than 2 seats is awesome, and with the Broadways I wouldnt even think twice about a person in the back seat.
