this is the most up to date photo of it

and here are some photos from how it came to be

this was my old hatch i had it for a very long time and got tired of not having a trunk

the car started with a k20a3 with type s cames i found a craigslist deal on a k24a1 with a type s head for $250.... yes $250 comeplete long block and was not stolen the guy said that it had a rod knock but when i got home and took it apart the only thing that was wrong with it was the stock crv oil pump had a broken balance shaft that was making the knocking lol wow it was pure luck eveything else was perfect i still bought new bearings and a new type s oil pump and put it back together

bought a 99 ex coupe for a real good price

    got the seats done

    did the wheels too

now like i said my laptop with all my pictures crashed so i dont have much of anything left i painted the bay tucked the brakes and wires then changed out the subframe and put the swap in

extended the exhaust to fit perfect

after that a/c lines that i made were put in and was charged

then car was taken to get body work and paint done

after paint was done so excited

so while the bumper was being finished i took the car to get an alignment done

    here she is finished up

i got real tired of the 15" bbs rms pretty quick so i ended up selling them and getting 16x9.5 southernways epsilons that came in a 5x120 so im changing up 4 lug to 5 lug suspension and getting the faces redrilled 5x114

and this is how she currently looks

decided to freshen up the bay

i don't have much picture saved of the actual progress of the bay most are posted on my instagram if anyone is interested in seeing them user name Silver_King_Kouppa

the bay all completed at the time i went with a wrinkle black theme

took me a while to find these wheels anyone that knows what they are know that they are a little hard to come by in such great condition and with center caps idk what it was i mean i know they are not ccws or HRE's or anything like that but there was something about the southern ways epsilons that just took my attention

these photos were taken at import alliance 2014 atlanta when the wheels were still 16x9.5 running a 205-40-16

i use to have a set of weds bavaria also

got rid of the weds and ended up getting some kosei k1 16x7.5 +35 that i swap out every now and then so i don't mess up the epsilons best part about how i have the suspension and camber set up upfront is that i don't need touch it for anything when i swap out the wheels its at -3.1 camber up front with both wheels

after mid summer 2014 i wanted to change it up some more something to make it pop i had a lot of attention when the silver and purple color theme was in effect the wrinkle black looked great as well but it didn't shout out and catch peoples eyes like the purple did so i started with new lips for the epsilons
4 inch lips in the rear moving the once was 16x9.5 to 16X10.5

i was a little nervous about fitting them since i never seen anyone run anything bigger then a 10 on a civic but sure enough they fit like a glove mind you before the car was painted i pulled and rolled the quarters a little so that way i wouldn't have to later on

now being that i ran a 205-40-16 when they were x9.5 running that size on a 10.5 was out of the question for me so i bumped it up to a 215-40-16 all around the rear stretched great and the front stretched not as much as the 205 but it was still enough to where they didn't rub up front but had much more contact on the road

the whole time I'm putting all this together on the civic i thought it would be nice to get some saw blades for my mini as well lol

now after i got every thing good the hardest part was trying to pick a good color something that i could keep for a while since I'm always changing up the colors after a few days of looking around i finally decided to do a silver metallic and have shocker yellow shot on top of it

you can't tell too much in pictures but in the sun it really pops the metallic makes the big difference

So refreshing to see a cleanly modded matching body panel properly suspended Civic!

                            progress IS a slow process
