Remember my uncle had a red BX wagon when I was like 6 or something. Man was that ride height lever something magical. He always started the car and let it 'warm' before lifting it and take off, I was like fuck yeah bitches it's 1989, f your stupid static rides

I think once its laying frame I should be able to tuck over 50% of the wheel, which will look pretty awesome.

Got the interior back in. Its so much nicer now that its clean.

    I also picked this up:

That's right, NOS heckblende! Sadly It came with a couple of cracks but I can fix them with some glue.

I finished the exam I was working towards, so I could spend a little time on it tonight.
I pretty much gutted the interior so that I can clean the carpet and all the plastic interior pieces.

Even under the carpet there's alot of built up crap.

I cracked one of the B-pillar covers, which is pretty annoying, but I dont think It'll be too visible once its re-fitted.

Here's a quick comparison shot of the dirty vs clean carpet.

Here's the rear wheel. This will need spacing out at least 15mm too.

Thanks! Hopefully it can get low enough to get rid of the arch gap.

It's got ridiculous arch gap still but once there are tyres on and it's not supported by the Jack, a lot of that will go.

Then once I've modified the suspension, I think I can get it sitting on the lip.

Here's the one you've all been waiting for...

That's the 1" lips on the front. I could go wider but im going to need at least 25mm spacers to clear the brakes anyway.

So I picked up some dishes tonight, from LukeyBabes, who is also a member on here.

Theyre just standard 0.5" RM dishes but i got them cheap.

I was Originally planning to use the 8j pair I already made for the back and put some bigger dishes on the front, but Its clear that there's no way anything wider than 7 (if im lucky), is going to fit in the back without major work.

The super annoying thing is that even though Image and BBS are both 30 hole, 15 inch diameter, they don't have the same spacing so I will have to elongate the holes on the lips to accomodate.

I'm not sure if other people have done this and/or it should be frowned upon, but for 1/10th the price of ordering new lips from Image, especially since nobody would want 0.5" image fitment lips once I was done with them. I might as well give it a shot.

I think the heater control holes are actually the perfect size for gauges. So I could do something with them.

I would like to do something some kind of space-agey since that's kinda the theme of the car.

I also had the idea of using a lightsaber as a shift knob
