BMW 840 - Air ride, 18" OZ Breytons - France

There's a couple threads on it over in the E31 section of bimmerforums.

Basically, you need a G420 with M62 flywheel.
Pedals are e34.
Driveshaft is either custom or euro bits.
Wiring might be a bit trickier with an M62. I know the M60 is super easy.

Thank you for the feedback! Yes it's mostly what I've seen, can I use a gearbox from an e38/e39 M60 or is it better from a 62? I want the mod as close as OEM as possible. About the driveshaft what are the cars I can pick it up from? I don't feel doing it custom because of the balancing.

Yes the wiring is what scares me a bit, I would look like an ass if the car is unusable after that

I would think e34 parts would be the ones that'd work. If not you'd most likely need to rob a manual e31 of it's trans and pedals. Cross referencing part numbers on realoem.com will give you the answers you need=)

Guys, I'm thinking about going to manual gearbox with this car. Do someone know if using parts from e38 or e39 v8 4.4 would work ? My engine is a 4.4 from 1996.
