Will you reinforce the control arm now? It still *seems* fairly strong but removing metal like that always makes me nervous.

Management
I first define where I want the different components to be placed. The compressor will be in place of the first aid kit, just behind the back seats
It fits tight
Checking if I can replace the filter when in place
Back on the car
I'm gonna left open the trap for the compressor to have some air for now and I'll see later what to do with this
I also put in place the harness just to be sure I could reach every parts
The manifold will stay here above the rear Wheel
Drilled some holes for the air line with some rubber protection
And quickly put the air tank in place. It's a 5 gallons with a 36" length
I also used when possible existing holes for the air line
And then I installed little threaded clips to attach the air tank
put the carpet back on

I would strongly suggest that you take out that VIAIR check valve that's on the end of the compressor leader line and replace it with an SMC or some other one. They are very well known to fail in cold weather as the valve freezes shut. I've had the same problem in the past.
Progress looks great!

Also redo the strap thats on top of the compressor, that will melt through the first time its used to fill the tank, the head gets very hot.My super boring build http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...other-M3-buildInsta Mintyhinrichs
