      I like your project.

Also the exhaust looks good, most people go for the quad tips but I like yours!

Yeah, I wanted something a little different, I like the rear of the 335i so went with that style exhaust.
Just bought some clear indicators so they should arrive this week or next.

I've contacted BC Racing who are hopefully going to sort out the knocking NSR damper.

Where does everyone get their Alpina splitters from?

I still can't say whether I like that dual exhaust out not, but I can definitely say it looks way better than quad for example. I'm sad you decided to convert to clear indicators. too bad you didn't mention anything here as I've got OEM set in perfect shape myself.

@e38art... there's a way of replacing the ribbon without taking out the needles. it requires a bit of drilling but there's nothing to complicated. I didn't risk pulling out the needles myself. everything's on the web. I think I've found that way of doing that on YT.

              Thanks,

I didn't pull the needles off, I've heard too many stories about the centre coming out of the motor, so I drilled four small holes directly above the small torq screws and removed the display that way.

I'm definitely changing the rears but I'm not sure about the fronts, I'll see once there here.

I've also just ordered a pair of rear BC dampers that are 40mm shorter than the standard BC dampers, so I should be able to run the rear low without removing any preload.

I had a few spare hours today as I was weathered off work, so decided to give the wife's car a bit of a clean.

To go with the cleaned bay from a bit ago.

Love me a e38 build. I think the style 95 wheels on a low e38 is a most superb combination.

Nice work Matt, your Wife's Touring looks great also.

I like the clear rear indicators on the E38.

                                Cheers Jimmy,

I've got the clear fronts on now so it's clears all round,

I'm still not sure about it though.

I'm thinking about colour coding the bumpers and skirts and maybe an Alpina splitter next.
