got this snapped stud out , had to weld a nut on to get it out bit of a ball ache with it being subflush with the surface but i got it out.



stole 4 exhaust studs out of the old head as the new one had some missing






also split down the inlet manifold for new gaskets a clean and a paint..


ended up buying a set of r33 gtr wheels aswell.

2 arnt in to bad condition the other 2 had been painted a few times over the powdercoat , in white pink green then black so i lashed them over with paint stripper and got the bulk of it off.

So got the valves back in along with new stem seals




painted my rocker covers and inlet manifold










got the inlet and exhaust manifold bolted up to the head with the fuel rail in aswell,
its easier to drop the lot on rather than build it up in the bay.
dropped the rocker covers on just to see what its gona look like








need to paint the breather outlets on the rockers black again as they were abit crappy and i got some gold overspray on them :/

but its ready to plop back on the car just gona have to wait and see what the weathers like on the weekend to get it built back up . currently without shelter to build it in and its still dark when i finish work through the week

Ordered my tyres for the r33 wheels and a set of new wheel nuts, also a pair of jap sized number plates as a cant stand the huge jeep ones it has on now.

After looking back at the 2 33 wheels id paint stipped ive realised how much i cant be arsed to prep them , the old powdercoat or whatever that is on them is so hard to get off with a wire wheel.

So i think im gona get them powdercoated , they where going the same gold as ive done my rocker covers but im gona have to get those coated aswell to match more than likely.

Also this thing is suposed to be taking me to my wedding which is in 35 days :P so i need to pull my finger out and get it running.

sorry no pics as my phone camera has died, need to dig my camera out the loft as my pics are terrible with the shitty phone cam anyway.

Got the head on yesterday and hooked a few anc bits and bobs up. Need to get a few pits of new pipe for vac and fuel as some are abit old. but its well on its way to running.

My dads took my 33 wheels and rocker covers to get powder coated also.

Tyres, wheel bolts and new number plates are hear ready to go on

havent done alot to this thing lately, barely driven it tbh.

But i bought a hybrid rb25 turbo which im hoping to collect the rest of the bits and bobs i need to run this over winter if i can afford too anyway



ive also bought a new "sensible" daily/family car since i have a child coming along in january.


its not on the road yet as im waiting on the log book to come through.
