Well hello.. been quiet for some time now.
After that last pic, i ran the car as N/A for about 1k miles, and as a "every mans" drag event was coming up, i had to get it under pressure.
So it happened, but due to hurrying i blew the head gasket with detonation. No worries - head got checked and needed only new gasket. Now with a bit more safe tune until i get last missing pieces (intercooler, IAT sensor and bov).
Until then, i'm running on low boost(0,7bar/10psi).
Next drag event is coming in less than two weeks.. so i want get atleast 1,5bar of boost, without that there's no real power
Anyways, the engine bay is obviously not finished, but just few pics to see that it really has a turbo
So it was running on 1bar of boost with the toyota ct26 turbocharger, but that little shit leaked oil like hell, and finally it gave up. Due to oil had "some" detonation and then bad things happened
One of the pistons broke between the rings and it started to smoke from crank vent. So i took it apart and what had happened, you see from pictures above.
So got new pistons(still original), and new turbo(K29 from volvo FM9 truck :twisted: )
So in next week i hopefully get it running again and properly tuned also, now everything should be OK for that.. until now always something has been screwing me
