  • {Slow Build} Satty Wagon

So, this is my 1998 Saturn Sw2. Like the title says, this will be a slow build..as well as a junkyard/budget build. I'm not very experienced with working on cars so this will be a learning experience. I apologize if my thread is kinda messy. All comments good and bad are more then welcome. Have any ideas, tips, or questions? Please don't hesitate to ask/share

    Future Plans:
    Remove Pin Stripes
Replace tint from previous owner. A lot of bubbles on the driver side window (will post pics later)
Repair front passenger door panel and inside door handle
    Install new speakers
    Wire tuck
    Drop it a few inches
    New wheels
    New muffler
    Seat swap
    Maybe.. just maybe HIDS.
Possibly headlight tint, but unsure on how it will look.

    {Keep in mind I am not a photographer, and I'm using my cellphone }

The first thing to do was to remove the horrible pin stripes on the car. Luckily my friend showed up at the perfect moment and we knocked it out pretty fast using a hair dryer.

    Before:

Pinstripes removed, and a quick wash.

Back speakers blew out so I ran to the thrift shop, found some cheap speakers and wired them in for a temporary fix.

Also, these are going in the front. I have one installed so far

Was planning to do some wire tucking and cleaning, but didn't happen that night. So instead, I took a picture.

The next day I did a little cleaning, mostly up in the front right corner while I had the time. Although, I'm still not very happy with it but time was limited.

    I know, still pretty messy.

I'm hoping to get more work done this coming week on one of my days off, along with some better pictures.

Thanks guys! Sorry I haven't posted any more pictures. Been very busy lately. Picking up some tear drop rims for the Saturn this coming week! Yup race-land coils are the plan! Recently got a second job, will be ordering these soon http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/...coilovers.html

Hey guys, Its been a while. A couple of weeks ago some one backed into my Saturn with their truck. Smashed the headlights, damaged the hood and the front bumper. Luckily its mostly just cosmetic. Replaced the headlights the other day. Right now the plans are to rip out the carpet this week (and pick up some black carpet when I get paid) and replacing the back breaks. Also need to replace the rack n pinion as it is leaking. Also considering cutting off the muffler and replacing it with a piece of pipe. Also need to pick up a new hood and front bumper. Not if sure if I should try and find a white replacement or go with a different color. Any thoughts?

                      Updates!
Getting that ugly molding carpet out. Looks better already!

This how she looks currently. Most of the body damage has been fixed.
