Yeah, I decided I'm going to keep her and just slowly modify her to my taste. Do as much OEM+ stuff as I want and then see how she goes.

Rumour has it that Certified is going to be in November this year. So I'm thinking I have some stuff done for then.

As for mobile mechanics, there is a mechanic just down the road that seems to specialise in old SAAB's, might pay them a visit on the way home and see what their prices are like. They're literally four doors down from my apartment, so fingers crossed they're reputable and not super expensive.

Yeah I did sell them, I was actually in the process of parting the car out completely and going carless for a while. Now, I made the decision to keep her for a long time to come so I'm turning her into exactly what I want. OEM+ for life.

I may or may not have just impulse bought Mk4 R32 leather rear seats...

Dang ah well youll definitely find wheels to work with this car again haha.

Also yes on those r32 seats. Just now you will have to find matching fronts right?

Yeah, I have two sets of RS' that I'm considering running. One for daily duties (kept at 16's) and the other for shows which I'm considering up-lipping to 18's.

Basically yeah, I just need front R32 seats now. I've already sussed how hard it is to retro-fit the heated seats as well, so I'll also be attempting that once I do get a pair of front seats.

Picking up rear .:R seats in the morning.

Found an .:R32 IMMO3 FIS instrument cluster in Germany.
I need it so bad, but guy is asking 350 euro. See how we go...

I really should calm down with the purchases.

People must **** text updates. I'll grab some photos of Lucy tomorrow while changing over the seats. Gives people something to look at instead of reading chunks of text.

.:R seats were picked up this morning.

Didn't take long to install them, maybe fifteen minutes max.

Can't wait till the vents illuminate. Just waiting on parts now. All of them have been posted, so hopefully get them during the week some time so I can install on the weekend.

You literally change your mind more often than I eat....and that's at least 3-5 times a day

Rear seats look good, keen to see what you do with up-lipped RS'!

Yeah, I'm working on that! My brain was a little scattered, now I'm much more confident in my decisions etc.

It'll be a while off yet, looks like I might be saving for a New Zealand trip instead of step lips and barrels!

Alright, just sent through my ECS tuning order. Looks like some goodies have been ordered.

                            List below.

                            ES#: 2713440
                            ES#: 2677673
                            ES#: 9584
                            ES#: 9809

Next up is a down pipe and tune engine wise, but that'll be once the ignition kit has been installed and I've done the brake pad upgrade.

Hopefully the rear end gets cleaned up with the rear wiper delete. That'll be fun to do. I've got a fair amount to organise to get the front end cleaned up, having to weld up the bonnet and fill the bumper, then get both sprayed. That'll definitely be an interesting and costly exercise.

I also got a quote for my wheel setup. I need to get the centres back home from Stu's place so I can measure up before pulling the trigger on that side of things.

Another piece to the puzzle purchased this morning.

Hopefully the illuminated vents and wiring loom kit arrive this week. I actually found a W8 interior light too, which was only released on the fully specced out Passat's.

Contemplating purchasing it as that would be another OEM+ piece that not many would notice but I would know it was there.

No more spending on Lucy until all of the current purchases have been installed.

Trying to come up with specs for the RS' that I want to build. Might end up with something like the following.

                                18x9.5 ET19 2" lips
                                18x10 ET32. 2.5" lips

See how we go, but fitment would be something similar to what mrkrinkle has on here.

                                Image for reference.
