Cheers for the part # man, I didnt realize this were a bit smaller than the Saab ones. Also im sure these probably support the weight of our massive fuel tanks, when full, a bit better than a Saab shock since these were designed for the front of a truck haha.
Haha it's actually for the 4cyl motor ranger so I would imagine its lighter compared to ours. But still in my opinion heavier duty than Saab shocks.
They are actually smaller in size over the Saab struts. I would also imagine they are easier to source and cheaper, in the states at least.

May I please ask the part number for your Ford Ranger Bilstein rear shocks? Thanks!
Bilstein 24-022361 Monotube Shock Absorber, Front, 46mm
Remember. You must use the front bilsteins in the rear of the Mercedes. So don't be worried that you are buying front shocks for the rear of your Benz.
Love Carlssons so much. I use to stare at that picture every day hoping mine would look close or be on that level one day. Even before I had my car and it's weird because it's the same color. Haha.
Looks good man! I'm waiting on my brackets from Jay via bagriders, went with SS5's as well. Just need to pick out my struts and slap it all in. What made you go with ranger struts in the rear over saab? Better valving?

Also love seeing that service and follow up from the guy who made the brackets... I was actually wondering if that angle was detrimental to the bag.
Thank you so much! the picture was actually pre-install. The bag really doesn't sit that far in. There is a plate that goes on the bottom of that and kind of centers it if that makes sense haha. I'll have to get it up in the air and take some better pictures soon!
Car looks good as always Tim. You were the first to purchase my brackets and get them installed. Shoot me a message next week I'll gunna send you a set of the updated from brackets to cut down on the inward angle of the bag.
