damn, awesome stuff man. Really wishing I could get one of those redesigned center consoles but the cost of them new is just not worth it for me. Local friend of mine got one for a steal and I wish I could have gotten in instead lol.IG - mx5_matt

It's not all that well made, so I actually chopped it up... It's getting grafted into the oem stock center console. Long story but I really disliked the long armrest.
If you want the rest of it minus the double cupholder area which I removed, I will likely be scrapping it. Not sure if it would be of any interest.sigpic

update- major changes happening- if anyone wants the entire interior out of this car, let me know as Im taking offers around 450$. every single piece included down to the little clips. everything in pristine condition. car just clicked 47k
its out of the car too after about 12 hours of stripping down 2 miatas haha
this should get fun. more pictures to come once flickr works...
On a positive note, the inside of this car is so clean I was shocked when i got the last piece of the interior out. Not a spot on anything. It wasnt even dirty haha. I guess no mileage, only summer use, and garaged since new does make a big difference.

No decision on seats yet?
S2000 seats. Cheaper than what you are looking for, plentiful, came in a few different colors, and they look at home in an NA miata.
It seems like quite a few taller NA owners swear by them, but there have been a few complaints by old guys about the lack of lumbar support.
If you don't want to drop a lot of cash on some custom wheels, yet still want to stand out, why don't you just convert a run of the mill wheel into 2 or 3 pieces in the specs that you want? Like pick of a set of used Kosei K1's and use the faces from that, or even use the stock miata daisy faces and slap a fat lip on them?
Just some thoughts.
Looks great though, I love how OEM+ this is, and the attention to detail.

haha yeah no matter how hard I try not to put time and money into these things, when I decide I like them budget goes down the drain...
interior project is more of a "fell into my lap" type of project, but it'll be worth it for sure in the end as its much more me than before. The tan interior going up for sale will hopefully help offset part of the money going into this.. and much of it is still undecided, but it'll all make sense soon i hope.,
pictures soon will show soon whats been happening. its been a weird few weeks working on these things. One thing I have been learning is how they engineered this car to have everything necessary but not a single thing else. I love the simplicity.sigpic

Can't wait to see=) I can't help but ask. Is the Z32 still being tinkered with or has it been put on hiatus?

yeah the fairlady will always be the main project till I'm old and cant work on it. Its not going anywhere. At this point its basically a complete OCD project and the past few months have been obsessing and fabricating every single small detail i could to simplify things as far as i could. there will be some light shed on that thread soon. lots of things have gone completely mental on that project. haha. at the moment the entire car is apart, everything is getting a thorough work through.. the pieces are all in lines with labels and info, and one by one are getting worked on and finished. its a bit nuts
This project is staying super simple and its only purpose is to drive around and enjoy. there won't be a ton of money dropped on this for that reason. Doesn't mean it isn't going to be fun though and well sorted.Last edited by 1badg35; 03-17-2015, 10:20 AM.sigpic

yeah, have been working late nights on the car in an attempt to get the interior changes buttoned up and prepared so the hard part is out of the way. pictures soon of the updates before the car goes off for some other work at a friends shop.
seats won't be in it though for probably 8 or so weeks as they have a several step process they will be going through once here. Ill try to document once here. Should be cool when complete and much more conducive for a 6'3" tall driver
also decided since the parts were at my disposal for the past few weeks to do a few time appropriate "back dates" to the car, as it sort of had too much technology if that makes any sense. simple should be simple, decided to follow that rule and make a few changes mazda thought were creature comforts but are sort of more of a pain than their worth.
Power windows, power seats, power mirrors, airbag, cruise control, useless speakers in seatbacks, aint nobody got time for that. i need to find the gif to go along with thatLast edited by 1badg35; 03-20-2015, 10:15 AM.sigpic
