update- suspension has been ordered and "wheels" are in possession as of 7am tomorrow...

with that said, a simple set of wheels would never be able to go onto one of the spinfab projects, so its going to go through a pretty interesting process that I will try to fully document further.

more info to come soon. It should be a fairly fun process to show what goes into the things we do over here day to day

Shit. Been looking at miatas lately - this does not help.

Looking forward to whatever wheels you have in mind for this.

so... the start of the wheel project.

disclaimer the changes are going to be significant, so although it looks like a simple bbs rs build at first glance, I assure you its not.

donor set sourced for the project. was said to have stock lips (.5") and wound up arriving with 1.5" and 3" german machine spun 6061 forged lips. will soon be up for sale, as the lip sizes needed will likely be 2" and 2.5", potentially 2.5/3" if it permits with the tires chosen

again, the purpose of the car is go-kart so there won't be any massively stretched tires or anything here. the car will get a healthy dose of lowering, and a one off set of wheels under the

invitational line @ spinfab. ill elaborate more on the process in the near future, and allude to whats being made here. it'll be a fun process

That's the one I have that's getting chopped up. Price is a bit crazy for what you get, but in the end I'll have the best of both worlds. The first thing I noticed when test fitting it is that the center console cover comes too far forward and makes it semi uncomfortable to lean your arm when shifting. Seemed like a much better design, but honestly its better in some ways and worse in others.
