How was the stud kit to install? thats next up on my list I think. Also wish I could just buy the one vader for my passenger side lol since Im waiting a while to do a race seat over there due to price.

Cars looking great tho. Oh if you check out understeer.com they have some cool cheap projects like wrapping the selector shaft thing with copper solder and tape to make it heavier instead of spending a lot on an upgraded one. I deff need to do all my bushings tho shifter is kind of sloppy.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do. Most bmws are pretty close in regards to seat mounting.

okay I put a lot of miles on my car, I've had 3 cars with welded diffs and I've welded them all myself (read I'm poor and can weld half decent) Ive only ever had one problem and it was on a 180k mile diff and and i had a cv joint break on me and after that the diff felt funny. I only run a 205 or 215 in the rear but I am very aggressive on my car.

It depends on a lot of factors, the quality of the weld, strength of the diff/axles and the load (horsepower and traction available) alottt of people have no issues with welded diffs and some do. I say go for it. I love it and it makes the car drift great, for all the people that say "you'll wreck in the rain and it chews through tires" thats mostly bullshit. My car won't get sideways unless I INTENTIONALLY make it get sideways and the only reason I change tires is because I wore them out through drifting.

do it and you'll love it. and its cheap. open diffs are cheap if it does break, and they perform better compared to worn out old lsd's

They flow so nicely, look up style 30's with are a double spoke stock wheel and these are like a refined version, it just works, these were supposed to be wheels to just get throughout the winter but honestly I love them ill probably end up keeping them, thanks for the support man.

I honestly am not sure, but all the bushings have been replaced, a ZHP knob added and some shirt throw shifter and it makes the car so much more modern. The only thing I want to add is a DSSR but it really isn't necessary.. But I did add a 4 spoke M3 wheel and it is thicker and feels a lot better in my hand, I like the big wheel especially once I added the seat.

Such a great investment. Between the short shifter and the seats, the interior is really a great place to be. I starting to fall in love with the car again.

finally some real updates. I got home and the first task was the clutch and it wasn't super difficult but it was very labor intensive and time consuming it took about 12 hours including meals and anger breaks lol.

If you recall I was doing a 2nd gear burnout (clutch burnout lolz) and something let loose and the car wouldn't move.. well this is what i found

I ordered a Stage 4 ceramic 6 puck unsprung clutch, and Lightweight single mass flywheel from FX racing clutches and I absolutely love it so far but it is kind of annoying in traffic.

I bought a Motorsports hardwear stud conversion an it was one of the best things I've done to the car. and looks and functions great, bought some spacers as well 17.5 up front and 12mm in the rear, I have 20mm for the front I need to put on and might move the 17.5's to the rear. overall I love the fitment.

Last thing I did was swap some corbuea FX1 pros in da bitch and I love them so much, I'm 6'2 240 38in waist and they fit me so perfect. like a small marsupial in its mothers pouch. then I just drove and enjoyed the car, i put 400 miles on it in like 6 days, overall its really starting to become a great handling car for being so low, the increased camber up front has helped a lot and it seems to self steer better, I'm still on the hunt for more caster, and more traction in the rear but that will have to wait till I save up so cash.
