I do understand both worlds that react on this thread.

To some it may look like you are cutting corners (which you can't deny; you do sometimes ) and to some it may just be awesome to see what you can accomplish with limited resources.
I mean, hell! We can't all afford Wide-bodied Porsches with +$5k HRE wheels

Nevertheless I think you could have done a better job with your cars. I know they were all dirt-cheap. But to me you could be turning shitty, neglected <1000,- vehicles into something neat, clean (I mean literally clean) and giving it a second life.

You must understand that cracked and rotted wheel arches, cheap and misfitted vinyl wraps, and especially immitation-brand wheels do not get much appreciation on this forum

I think what a lot of people are forgetting is this man is not building any show cars. These builds are influencing stance culture into a few vehicles. I admit its clustered, and not the best quality of work but I think this build is brilliant and very interesting to read. I think your doing a great job and keeping me well entertained, not a disappointment at all! There are several types of builds and this may be a lower budget build but its not shit. Many people providing negative feedback have builds that don't particularly make me happy either ,but I believe some people are trying to troll and flame for no particular reason. So lets just keep this civil and try not to provide negative comments because its aware this man doesn't care and will continue building his vehicles no matter what others have to say. Especially the man who built the Monte Carlo, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Wasn't even low at all and just a waste of time to read through. Looked the same on page on as it did at the last page. I commend this guy on his wheel collection, deeming none of them as shit wheels. I personally would love to have 4 sets of rims rather than I expensive set that's just bound to get damaged etc. Good Job man, keep this build coming.

        Guys are like girls

"Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh you have cheap wheels". "Waaaaaaaaaaaah i dont like the woodgrain". "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this isn't a restoration". "Wahhhhhhhahhhhhhhhh you're ruining your cars". Waaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this build is a cluster fuck"

Some of you guys are annoying. I like to keep myself busy so i have multiple projects and I enjoy my car so I'ma keep proceeding and doing whatever I want.

Anywho I started messing with this turd

        Tore it apart

put it back together. couldn't pin point the leak

Then it wouldn't start. trouble shooted and found the starter randomly died

        pic of me testing it

got a new one for $70 pus a $10 core

Crx starts but it was raining today so i decided to post pics. ill rake a crack at it again tomorrow morning. Either i fix it soon or i gotta get rid of it. So lets hope i fix it.

Pic of my girl alice because i love driving it so much

I'll be at H2O this year

The diamonds are the best look so far on your car. Loving it man keep up the progress. Making me have a soft spot for eg hatches now!! Also respect for not allowing others to effect your build. Good to see you having fun with your car.

Wow, really impressed with the sideskirts. Diamonds are definitely my favorite wheels so far as well!

                Yayayayay can't keep still

Since it was spring break I had a lot of free time to mess around with things without school and work weighing me down. Finally got these in the mail

so here's a nice Before and After picture!

                Before: on the eg hatch

                and an after:

It was a pain in the ass because one control arm may have been slightly bent. Idk it just didn't wanna line up but with sheer determination i got it done

                On the ground

My twin was adventuring around a junkyard and got me a present. Said he pulled 2 from two different old Mercedes but i got the uglier one... But here it is

Looked bad and had gaps because it didn't line up correctly... so with the help of a few screws we got here

Looks pretty nice, gotta do some cutting to fit my big wooden shift knob in there.

                oh wells next next next

messed with the crx. couldn't find the leak too much shit in the way. tore out the breather chamber and pcv valve

Now look at that view. so nice with nothing in the way

leak was coming from the intake manifold. it was new but somehow didn't hold a seal. so i got a new one

slapped it in and no leaks!

started to bleeed the coolant system of air. lots of bubbles

need to do more bleeding in the future. couldn't find a fancy funnel but more bubbles

oh yeah it's not completely perfect but its running. need to find the other vacuum leaks. but the crx is kinda alive at the moment

I also wanted to widen the stance on my eg hatch. The 15x10s in the back are great but now i want 15x10s in the front tooo! so i found a girl who'll be trading me these this up coming Thursday. Hopefully she doesn't bluff me

When i do get them I really wanna match my two blacks ones to these. I love this look

But to end things here are some newer pics of alice i took when she went for a nice long drive

So thats what i've accomplished so far. Need to get a rolling shot and continue working on the crx!

It's like all of the worst trends 2012 Honda kids could come up with, rolled into one car. the Eg looked clean when you first bought it... However, I do like the way the car sits. Fitment is great, but I would just work out a plan when you build, instead of throwing whatever you find deals on onto the car. But then again, it isn't my car. Do what you please.

What are the specs on the pink and chrome diamonds? You should test fit your rears up front so that you get a idea of what it will sit like. If you haven't already. Should look boss.

tbh, I like the wood grain on the fenders.. to much looked bad, but you should do a cam or something to the hatch.. I love the progress rate! I want another honda :/

                        Updates for peeps

whats up guys. this week I took the tires of the 15x8 diamonds
                        cleaned them up

                        before

                        after

                        Said my goodbyes !!!!!!!

                        and said hello to bae

                        like so awesome!

after i cleaned them up and attempted to wetsand a bit of curb rash. couldn't make it disappear completely but they do look way better no then before i started

just gotta go tomorrow morning and find a shop to mount them. its only a 195/45 on a 15x10. its not all that extreme.

also decided to spread the love. got the driver door and fenders on for the crx. Possibly thinking of just rusting the whole damn car........

Still gotta put on the passenger door and mount the new radiator core support but thats work for another day

                        blah what a turd....

                          Finally mounted

5 tire shops later they have been mounted. didn't think it would be all that for 195s on a 10. oh wells

                          got them home

now just gotta make them fit....

might take a while to get them perfect...

                                Blah

crx isn't getting love because i'm in the process of waiting for parts.its still burning coolant so either the head gasket didn't seal properly or the head bolts are stretched. purchased aarp head bolts and that'll hopefully fix that mess until then i got other toys to mess with

but any who fitted all the wheels on the hatch today. I need to purchase new rear camber kit because i need more negative camber.

if it were easy to fit 15x10 diamonds with 3 & 4 inch lips i guess everyone would be doing it... oh wells
