Merc/Jag V12, BMW V10, V8, all would be fantastic in different ways; I'm just voting it gets a manual transmission regardless!

Cause I don't imagine the bay is as wide as a lead sled from the 40's or 50's. All of these engine noted above all come with standard"ish" angle of the "V". I know the V10 BMW has 90, the Jag v12 has shallower angle as do all v12 's (Maybe 60 since that is what 12's of the time saw as standard), and the VW's is also 90 but being sleeved (since it has been chambered for cooling the diesel) runs wider then the BMW. Would a 90 degree angled engine work for looks? They tend to be wider but shorter in height. Or is 60 the way to go? With a slimmer width but taller overall hieght. There a few very shallow "V" engines that have a shallow angle (VR6 is the most popular car engine) that tend to operate in the 10.5 to 15 degree neighborhood and the width is closer to an inline (See picture). This list of truly bad ass engines in the world is quite long especially if weird and strange ones are included.
Not trying to break your balls with a million questions. Just VERY interested in the power plant choice and your thought process behind which engines make the cut.

Not to be rude or intrusive, but what did you have to shell out for this thing? I know that even the biggest bag of dicks pre-war RR is 30 grand easy!

However I also vote Jaaaaaag V12, or BMW V12. Even though the V10 TDI is a pretty sick engine.
