Good, I've been watching Dirty Penny with some co workers and I can't wait to send them pics with it at Sowo and make them jealous!

This is badass, awesome that you're nearby too!
There's some gold in these CT hills.

This is one out of a T-930, which is probably bigger than you want at 17.6L, but there is a V8 version as well:

The V8 version is 11.7L, which is little more reasonable, and still makes 530 ft-lbs of torque at 1200 RPM in stock trim. You'd be looking for the engine out of a T-138, and since they made a hojillion of them, it should be relatively easy to find. It came in a bunch of later models as well.
Also, if you're going diesel of any description, I require an air starter (ignore all the garbage after the first 15 seconds):

EDIT: Here's a couple of T-813s, I believe. These are the 12-cylinder version, but they sound just unbelievable under load:

More brain-food:
force-fed Packard/Buick inline eight?
Or a radial aeroplane engine?

awesome work. I definitely envisioned this pouring out coal but a v12 would also be pretty sick.
I would love for this thing to be pouring out coal as well, still haven't made up my mind though.
