Working on it! The frame should be done pretty soon so the bodywork can begin.

This weekend I slammed my daily, had the coilovers for almost a year now and finally found the time for it. Will test fit my 19" Benz rims asap.

I continued building the motor mounts. You've seen some pipe welded to the original mounting plates before. I used the stock ones, got rid of the rubber and did some welding.
I bought these Energy supsension bushings, but I couldn't find a pipe that matches their diameter so I had to make them a little bit smaller. No big deal.

These are the brackets that will be welded to the frame.

      The finished product.

Sorry for no updates in forever. After recovering from some surgery i had to take care of my daily - which isn't done yet -

And started on the Buick again. Building a watts link and new motor mounts, the ones I made don't fit.

New motor mount. Will reweld it tonight because the welds are super ugly.

Fixed the welds, build the other mount. The motor is back on the frame now, which is really a big thing to me. Does anybody actually read this?

Happy you're back at it. Any surgery sucks.
Steve - now in San Diego!

Thank you! It's been quite a while until I had everything I need. Actually I spent more money on tools than on the car itself.

Nice. I'm enjoying the way you're trying not to cut corners, and the improvement in your welding technique. Keep it up, the end result should be amazing

Thanks a lot. I really underestimated all that welding, it can be tricky...but I think I'm getting better.

Clean the surfaces with a wire wheel or wire brush and use more power. You are doing a good job there!

Sorry again for no updates in a long time. I was very busy painting my daily.

But I finished the framework and put the body back on. Will post more pics soon.
