YAY FOR UPDATES!!!!!!!!

So part of my goals for 2015 include more power out of the 1.6. After doing some research people seemed to like Cx-Racing and there wasn't much info on the Miata kit's so I thought I would grab one and do a bit of a write up on it. Black Friday came around and with the sale I decided it was the time for the boosteses.

Ordered it Friday but the turbo was on back order. I explained that I needed at least the intercooler and piping so I can start mock up on the tube front and now here we are. This kit has a lot of parts other than injectors and a way to tune. Came with T Bolt clamps and the welds look pretty decent. Only complaint so far is the intercooler piping is pretty tiny so we will see how that messes with boost lag and the such. Proceed on the photo dump.

Ok so tonight I went over and started really tearing into the car. Got most of the front end taken off as well as most of the wiring pulled out to begin on the tube front end and wire tuck. Was pretty easy as most everything is held on with a 10mm bolt or nut of some kind.

Last year sometime I got in a minor fender bender with a car who decided to full on lock up her brakes while merging onto the highway in the rain. Needless to say I may or may not have hit the rear of her vehicle. Well at first I thought it just smooshed in the core support so we were just going to do a tube core support and bash bar but after getting everything taken off the front I noticed the damage was a bit more involved so we will be doing a partial tube front as well.

You can see the damage on the passenger side in these pictures.

Don't have any real cool updates. Just been messing with the wiring harness a bit taking out uneeded wires and wire tucking it a bit. So here are some older photos from the last event of the year.

Alright guys making progress very slow progress but it's getting there. It's come a long way since it was started. My buddy Dan is doing great with the fabwork on the front end. Can't wait to get this car done and sliding in 2015. Sorry for the crappy instagram photo it's all I have right now keep forgetting to bring my camera with me.

Got the headlight mounts built and the LED "headlights" installed. The car is going to have a permanent sleepy eye look.
