    Morning Everyone,

I started working on the driveshaft yesterday. Had to cut the tunnel some more. However, the driveshaft is way too long.

Started working on the plumbing work since my shaft was too big;-)

    Thanks,

    Hello Everyone,

Well today I picked up my new custom 2 piece driveshaft. Look forward to installing it this weekend. I feel I'm getting very close... I will try to get the plumbing done for the front brakes this weekend and figure out how I would like to do the back.

Well... Here is a picture of my shaft lol

    Thanks,

    Good Evening Everyone,

The new locking fuel cap came in today. I have never spent so much on a locking gas cap before... However, she sure does look pretty. Way better than my old one.

Cleaned up the wiring for the guages and took a picture with the lamp lights on. Very happy I'm done with this. Haha.

    Evening Everyone,

Here is a few update from the weekend and tonight...

I wanted to use the original light switch to control the lamp lights for the new gauges... When I went off this terminal, the voltage would drop to around 5v and only one gauge would work. I decided to wire in a relay and now the gauges are nice and bright (will post a night shot once the wiring is complete/ cleaned up).

I also had to modify the tunnel... Again... I knew the tunnel would have to be modified for the T5 swap... Didn't realize how much was invloved till did it.

I installed bulkhead fittings for the oil lines... Not really what I wanted to do, but it should work. I'm a slut for a nicw AN fitting. Haha.

The break lines also came in with the outlet adapters. Still waiting on the inlet ones. I went with 16" lines (-3). I may have to go shorter with a different set of rims, but they don't seem to hit with the current set. Pictures taken at full locking position.

Thank you. I'm not a fan of the yellow either. Haha. However, the price was right and the car had very little rust.

    Thanks,

    Good Evening Everyone!

After spending all day Saturday and some of Sunday, I figured out the electrical issue. I will need to run a separate switch for the lamp lights for the cluster (voltage drops down with all the new gauges piggy backing off it). Blower motor sounds like it needs a little lube... All in all, very happy.

Thanks for the support everyone. Next thing I'll be looking for will be seats. I'm trying to locate some E36 seats at this time.
