Yeah I can currently sit up straight with about an inch of head clearance, but I have not yet changed the seat out to a lower one or lowered the floor, so I'll be fine!

Kinda neat, could be done on the original frame but a thumbs up for the work. That body is way off to the left or something.... look at the fitment on the back of it

I think it has different wheels on the left side? But i feel like an irs swap would be a hell of a lot easier than throwing it on an s chassis, but it would have to be a vette irs to keep the same bolt pattern, which would be handy because it is basically the same as 5x120 bolt pattern which means baller bmw wheels but imo truck + irs = camber = no mexiflush = sexy truck.

Also i am gonna leave this here i know it's a hardbody but the wheel wells are similar

Just rolled the truck in the garage and got a few people that say they'll be over to help drop the motor in (They said that last time too and bailed), so if they show, the motor should be in by the end of the night!

So.... It's in!!

Didn't give us too hard of a time. Going to have to get new suspension because these lowering springs cannot handle the weight, truck is just sitting on the bumpstops

Next order of business is to drill new holes in the frame so I can mount the oem trans crossmember and that part will be done. After I will get a drive shaft made, hook everything up and be good to go on that part!! Very excited, first motor swap

It definitely does, I'm glad I got it done before I head back to school on Monday. Now updates will slow back down a lot until I get a good amount of new parts stashed away and some time to install them!
