Ahh, I wondered whether the seats were "as is" or if you'd use cushions. As for the raw metal theme, I did suggest bolster-shaped metal on the seats
Either way, I'm very impressed with the project and have been following closely. Great work, and I look forward to more!

I had originally started to until someone in here found this for me. It was in hungarian but google translate helped with that. Most of them anyway.

So I was fortunate enough to have my buddy come over and do the harness. Taking out about 50% of it cause I got rid of so much and hopefully will have the car running mid next week.

Dear god this car is full of awesomeness! Great work man! Just went through the entire thread instead of working on a paper... oops.

The above seats are indeed a bit more 'techno' rather than the 'steampunk'-ish theme you're probably going after. Great design nonetheless!

I like the look of the bomber seats (especially the copper highlights), but I would rethink the ergonomics - unless this is solely a showcar designed only to be driven on and off a trailer. I know the bomber seat is a hot rod favourite, but I can't see why - if they are so uncomfortable that you end up with back pain after a drive longer than 10 minutes.
The Ring Brothers' Recoil, for example, has seats that look functional yet cool - I'd love to see how they looked with the cushioning replaced by formed copper :

Got the subframe back in today. AND got around to fixing my sewing machine (fucked it up the second day trying to do 7 layers of vinyl together) so upholstery work will be back on track.

Here's a photo the guy took of one of the finished seats before shipping. Really anxious to see these in person.
