Put the seats inside the car to get an idea of how they'd look. Just took the measurements for the brackets so I'll do those soon. Started on the rear seats too. Removed the center section but left the full frame of it intact. So I'll re-upholster each side and run the center console down the center. Oh and couldn't find my knife so had to use a machete haha

I was so angry I couldn't find this thread the other night. Finally found it and sooo many updates. This car is FUCKING AWESOME. I planned on shaving my rear bumper on my e30 almost to the same shape as this. Nice to see that it comes out well by simply tacking the flat sheet and bending/cutting from there. Awesome work man, cant wait to see it finished. #Subscribed

Here's the full set of photos of the seats with close-ups, debating on whether I should really polish them out or leave them with the same tarnished effect as the exterior of the car.

So the seats came in, grabbed some shots of them out in the barn (I have an unhealthy obsession with photography these days). Will post more of them later tonight.

Either way, I'm very impressed with the project and have been following closely. Great work, and I look forward to more!
The bolster shaped metal would be pretty interesting and would in fact make the seats more functional just because of the more efficient shape. I'll have to keep that in mind for my Rolls Royce project
