Cover the trailer in riveted-on sheet aluminum and copper plate it. Go big or go home.

Actually, doing something like that to an Airstream trailer would be super badass...

So my buddy picked up a 30 ft camper for free and agreed to strip it down to frame and strengthen it in exhange for me buying him a 1 car trailer. Now I'll be able to bring all my cars to the shows

Oh yes I've seen his thread on garage journals. I'm essentially following the same path right now

Hey everyone, love seeing all the rad shop/garage setups in here and thought I would contribute and show what I have going on. I'm in the mood to write so I'm going to get pretty detailed on this. A little back story to how it all unfolded, in February of 2012 I embarked on my first real car...

Off to find garage threads now...

Lights off the walls are great idea. I used to have a single fluro with a 2m lead which we hung around the shed where required. Perfect for hanging under the bonnet to get light that a ceiling light won't reach.

I always wonder why people never hang lights on the walls ~5ft off the ground for more light from weird angles. Light from above is great but light from the sides would be useful sometimes. Its something I'm gonna do when I get my own shop.

I read through it a bit last night. The Aussie forums doesn't seem to exist any more? Or maybe it went though yet another name change [I believe it had 2 while I was active in the car audio scene].

Starting on the page of garage building, but look thought the whole thread if you have time. He's an amazingly skilled guy!

I'd definitely like to see that. I'm going to be really putting in a lot of work to make the shop more like a shop rather than just a messy garage.

I got around to picking up some lumber today to start on the work bench and cabinets. It's about time I get this shop setup properly so I can actually get some work done.
