I'm starting to fear that I won't be done in time. Working long hours every night to try to finish but been having to cut corners here and there and I'm not sure I want to leave out anything in the original plan :/

I'll definitely have to meet the W114/115 group. And after only 2 months driving the thing last summer I already know what you mean lol

Finally got the motor back in. Had to go at it solo tonight, but still got it in and bolted up in under 30 minutes. Maybe the only thing that has been a breeze with this car.

Still the slow 240D with the auto trans. I'm likely going to swap it out for the late model 300td with manual trans during the summer.

I belive 87-88 models have the best 300td engines, better then 90's models

Finally got the car on the ground and moved it off the wall. Now I can actually see the neglected side lol. Been doing some hardcore long overdue spring cleaning around the shop too. It's starting to look organized again. More pics of the new setup to follow.

oh no, i've reached the end, I'm not sure what to do with my life anymore. 1-21 was a good read thank you. motivating me to get mine ready for paint tomorrow. can't wait for it to be done.

I actually had to sand the parts off that look "worn" because I hadn't cleaned the steel well enough in those spots. The plating won't rub off once it's on there good. I've even taken a buffing wheel and 2000 grit to it in spots that were solid and it held up great.

I got around to picking up some lumber today to start on the work bench and cabinets. It's about time I get this shop setup properly so I can actually get some work done.
