    Yep! I raised mine a few inches and welded a skid plate in when I still had the stock drivetrain. Took me three oil pans before I got fed up and did it though.

    Good call, these oil pans sits way too low and the transmission has plenty of clearance in the tunnel to raise everything.

    I wore I wouldn't work on the car until after the start of the New Year, but the itch took hold. Dropped the subframe real quick today. These bushings have seen better days thats for sure. I'll drop the rear next and then soda blast the remainder of the chassis, fix the rust, and primer all the hidden portions before putting the car back together.

    It won't be polished copper, more of a slightly brushed patina copper. I plan to let it dull and oxidize brownish then sea it before it turns green
