pretty hard to find, even the stick GAs are tough to find or at least in my area they are

going to be running a TB adapter and LX5 TB(Oldsmobile Aurora 65mm) and the rims have actually faded over time, have a few stone chips as well so I need to do something about that... maybe a color change or just new rims in general

so its 4:30am and I'm tired as fuck so I'll keep this short, things weren't going my way today but still made some progress

installing that stupid Speedbuilt swaybar made me loose my mind today! Hopefully it puts a smile on my face on the 1st corner I take lol

6 puck clutch going on and new slave cylinder went in

it's in!! 3 out of 4 mounts holding it in right now as I still haven't installed my poly insert for the rear mount

This is why I come to stanceworks - people doing real work to real cars. The styling might not be my taste, but you do you!

with this external crank trigger I can run the stock 3400 PCM, it would run/drive on the stock tune but I have a HP tuned PCM already that was setup for a slightly modified LX9/5spd combo.... a couple small wiring changes but for the most part plug and play

not much to update but a buddy swung by on his way to the track to drop off a LX5 TB and adapter he made, also got my CAI the other day

          LX5 vs 3400

had a little fire with that rear mount

          ready for the poly bushing

got most of the wiring hooked up as well, having a issue with the axle stubs that were left in the trans... can't get them out lol buddy said they are really tight with the LSD installed but they aren't budging for me

              I'm in London ON

so might be ripping the drivetrain back out to swap transmissions OBX LSD installed by previous owner and I can NOT get the axle stubs to budge which is a common issue with the OBX if some slight modifications weren't made before install.... I thought he left these pieces in to help with spillage but now I think he couldn't get them out and just disassembled the shafts

the frustration of trying to get those things out is starting to get to me, didn't touch the car yesterday and today is Thanksgiving dinner with the family so probably won't touch it today either... Monday I'm going to jack the car up as high as I can get it and then find the biggest prybar or sledge hammer/pickle fork combo and give her hell lol if that fails I have another J-body F23 sitting on the ground but no LSD and I need to drill/tap some holes for the N-body rear mount to bolt up

I was up past the area yesterday visiting my brother in Chatham. The axles have c clips don't they? You are going to have to use a pickle fork pry in between and pound it out. It's the only way to get them out. You might also need a hook and pick set after to get the rings out if it gets stuck inside.

                            10.2gigs/month

well tried the pickle fork some more and was just doing damage to my new fork and transmission casing, bought a slide hammer kit and not 1 thing with it helped lol

ordered this attachment and paid extra for shipping to have it by this Thursday so fingers crossed

and the reasoning behind all this BS, guess people don't run c-clips with the OBX or choose to chamfer the gears properly
                            no chamfer

                            chamfer

well got that CV joint puller in the mail and the threads on it were wrong but jam nut right, free replacement is in the mail and was told I could keep the one I have.... so hogged out the hole to slide over the slide hammer and bought another jam nut and welded one to the attachment but still axles would not budge would also only fit on the passenger side

was forced to pull the drivetrain back out and now I wait as I need to get 3 holes tapped on my replacement transmission... I want to drive this before snow comes so no LSD for now

took the side mount off the trans and part of the casing fell in my hand

well the guy`s at www.re-speed.com helped me out big time today, took me last minute and under a hr turn around time to get my transmission back!

went to swap slave cylinders and of course more bad luck, 1 of the bolts holding it in snapped off.... I couldn`t believe it but thankfully it had enough sticking out I was able to weld a nut on to it and back it out

more concerned with driving this before snow so dirty trans went in

got my replacement CV puller and wrong threads again! Jam nut correct :S
