e82 135i, Broadways, 18" RF from France

I've been following StanceWorks since a couple of years and I've been told to do a thread about my car. So because I do what people tell me, here it is in case someone may be interested in.

I bought the car a year ago in bad condition. The paint has some little scratches everywhere, bad front end adjustments and the interior is a mess:

Then, it was time for some cleaning, adjustments and new OEM parts:





I found a black leather interior but electric and mine wasn't. So I looked on the internet to make it work but couldn't find an easy way to do it.
Then just decided to keep my front seats structure and to cover it with the new foam and leather seat, I just wasn't sure at all but ended up good

I ordered some 1M interior alcantara parts and painted the center column trim in black:



I removed everything in the interior since it was so dirty everywhere. Also changed the steering wheel. I may buy an alcantara one in the future. Now it looks like this:



And then I just did this lol



The 2 rear fenders were replaced and so they had a big flat of an inch around the wheel arches. I kept like 10mm. The panels will be welded back again and sealed before going into the paint job.

I am gonna go quick on engine mods. I choose Berk Technology for the exhaust and midpipes. BMS catless downpipes, great and not so expansive:

Then I just compared the performance with a 991 Porsche. Bimmer is already faster

I want to go lower than most coilovers go so I ordered some Broadway Static suspension which I discovered the existence on S/W. Spring rates are f14k and r20k. Here they are:

I wanted to see how high they go This is not even the highest, I'm pretty sure you can go as high as stock on a e82

Been thinking a long time about CCW and Rotiform but after some photoshops, I ebayed RF'. They are iconic and timeless to me.

Some more low. Because I'm quite lucky, I have access to a complete garage, equipment and lift which is quite useful in our case and not much if you are a baker. I lowered the car 2 inches more front and rear, and added some spacers to define the final offsets I want.

On 1series they are quite high. Stocks are around +50.




Ok so what you guys want to see is this I guess:






I am using a 0.5" lip from my RS's and spacers to define the widths I want. At this stage camber is about -1°, I will go around -2.5° in the end. I knew I wanted to keep the stock tires dimensions so I defined the widths of the wheels with that in mind to get the stretch I want.

Some rolling before painting. Suspensions are so short, I had to cut the roller arm by 3 inches




New 1M order just to get a nice access to damper adjustments

Something very strange happened. Went for a drive



Needed some gas. I looked at my aluminum window trim, ok looking shiny:



and suddenly, BAM it became black and a S/W banner appeared:

Little issue here, I lighten the car every time I go over a speed bump and in my court



Washing. The weather was so bad until now that the car was dirty all the time. The ride height is now set and so the camber. I ordered some bubble lips from Paul for the RF's. Here very soon
