    • Finally got my wheels sandblasted thanks to Elijah AKA Oprahhwinfreyy

There is still a little gunk left around the edges but i will probably take a wheel to it to get it off.

I also need some suggestions for what paint to use. I am probably going to rattle can them so i was thinking i might as well use something that was meant for wheels. Hopefully i will bring you guys some updates with the wheels finished in the next coming weeks.

      • Also, i finished wet sanding another lip. The one on the right hasn't been polished so it is still hazy. I still need to get a good polishing wheel to use my jeweler's compound on. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Idk i have thought about bronze but I wanted a bright color without it being ricey, so i figured gold would be perfect. I'm not sure i'm changing my mind anytime soon.

You should be glad i don't want to paint them blue anymore, my rice stage passed surprisingly quickly.

                    • The flat bronzy gold that Tein H.Techs are coated in would look awesome against white, while still being on the bright end of the spectrum.

                      • I'm voting for black faces and copper lips, yes
You ain't gotta do it but it would look superb

Did you ever finish sanding those lips? If not i'm buying you a buffer

I just looked into that, if i could find that in a rattlecan or if i could convince my dad to break out the spray gun i just might consider it. I just suck at finding specific paint colors.

Idk i am a huge fan of just straight up polished lips so i think i'll stick with a goldish color for the centers. and NOPE i was supposed to get the last one done the past couple days but i went to a friend's house instead.

BUUUUUUUUUUT in other news I am going to Ohio Saturday to buy a door to replace the one that was basically ruined by one of the POs. I might try to get some pics that really show the damage.

Find a color in a swatch book that matches what you're going for and have your friendly local auto body supply mix it and throw it in some rattle cans for you.

                              • So i bought some stuff today.

                                A door.

                                Compared to the bad door.

                                A fender.

                                Compared to the old fender.

An apron. (I know it is the pre-facelift apron but i am not going to install it until i have a 535is air dam anyways.)

Compared to the one that has taken quite the beating.

I know, i have a pretty bad habit of buying parts i don't need for my car yet, but i don't like to pass up a good opportunity.

ALSO, does anyone know how to remove pinstripes? I've been wanting to get rid of them but it seems as though half of them are paint and half are tape, really confusing.
