So carrying on after my last post the cars prep went on & on & on lol.







Car was then ready to start getting primed.









Then flattened down ready for paint.









Then I got sent these while I was away on holiday.













The car originally came with a black roof which I wasn't sure about at first but it started growing on me, then I had a idea of changing it to tie in more the cars new look I was going with.

So I decided to go with Mercedes Havana Brown which im so glad I did.





The guys in the bodyshop then fitted all the panels for me so they made sure they all lined up correctly.



Once all painted I had the big job of putting the car all back together, I picked all my chromes up from Doug Taylor Polishing which I highly recommend & then started on the door handles, grille, lights etc to be able to get the home & out of the bodyshops way.







After getting the car home I cracked on with the rest of the chromes.











Bumpers had new rubbers fitted before going back on the car which a pain in the ass to do.





Then I cleaned the interior up & fitted all my little retro touches all ready for its very first show which happened to be the following day.

During the week I speaking to a friend of mine who was going to the same local show about taking some pictures & he decided to make a day of, coming to my house, at the show & a old petrol station we stopped at on the way home.
