Then the winter project starts. Plans for the winter is getting rid of the rust... some rust may have apeared after a good wash with the pressure washer but nothing too serious. Also going to do a wire tuck/shaving of the bay.

Also a good overhauling of the undercarriage is about time, with new bushings and so on.

Looks good after 30 years on the road if you ask me. But as you see there is some rust over the mounting spot for the swaybar

Nice, clean and parked in the new garage alongside with a flawless e21

Something must be wrong with my alignment

Before I start pulling out the engine

Ready for a good clean and sandblasting on the rusted places. The plan is to move the ignition modules and fusebox from the enginebay. Battery is going to the back and washer fluid is gonna be all gone.

Thank you, and to be honest the interior looks much better IRL than in the pictures. I was really skeptical about the brown interior before i bought the car but now I'm really pleased.
And btw you made me want vette wheels

started a topic My bronzitbeige metallic e28

    My bronzitbeige metallic e28

The Corrado had to go cause it was time to get my fav BMW So tired of fwd and felt the urge to get back in the rwd game so had to get this 528i when it showed up on a Swedish website. Got on the plane to Copenhagen, and then on the train to Vaxjo in Sweden, bought it, and drove 1150km back home to Norway!

Basicly its a Bronzitbeige metallic 528ia, with brown interior smelling like an old couch. very little rust, and the paint is ok, but it will get an respray when the wallet say yes. When I got it, it had 7.5j and 8.5j hartge wheels with redicolous tires, 225/50-16 and 245/45-16, and was quickly changed to 205/40-16. Plans are many, but first I have to get norwegian plates.

    Random gas station in Sweden

On new tires, and H&R springs up front

Enjoying the view with some old nazibunkers

Working...
