I planned on having to repaint it anyway. My color is super rare and idk if you could order a factory hardtop in that color anyway.

Ok so WHEELS ARE ON! I got them sealed and then took them to the tire shop on friday.
Lemme start by saying, if anyone is in the central florida area and looking for a tire guy, head to Action Air Tire in Kissimee. Holy shit great service. It's a tire shop that welcomes stance kids, which is unheard of (at least I haven't experienced it).
Anyway, So I ordered a set of 195/45 Toyo Proxes t1r's, going on an 8.5 and a 9. I know it's not a ton of stretch, but after many sleepless nights and obsessing over what sizes to do, I thought that 195 45 all around would look the most even, and I'm a big fan of the proxes.

When I got there, the tireman said that he had 165 45 in stock and that i should do that on teh 8.5's. They were shittier tires, but more stretch. I told him i didn't know about it and he offered to let me look at 195/45 and 165/45 next to each other on my wheels. Obviously I said hell yeah:

    165/45:

As I thought, it was a ton of stretch and sorta rubber-band looking. Only Confirmed next to the Proxes on the 8.5:

So stuck with 195/45 all around. Alignment time, SPECS PLS:

Tentative height for the roll home:

Actually had to borrow a bat and roll my rear fenders at the tire shop to get it home.

Then got home and got to lowering the bitch:

Painted the toyo white with literally crayola paint that i had laying around. How do the pros actually do this? spray paint? Idk i love the look though

And there you have it. This is how she sits now, and probably wont have any big updates for a while seeing as how i've spend an ass ton of money on the car in the last few months and I wanna get my hands on a new camera soon. I'll keep it updated with the little stuff i do though. Next steps are Hardtop, Extended top hats, only for rear. This is totally maxed out unless i cut sprangs on my coilovers, which i dont wanna do. and also would like to do some sort of exhaust system. Anyone have any they recomend?

good work so far man. nice pick up on those fender braces too, I got my sway bars the same way - local ad on Gumtree (think aussie craigslist) stating something along the lines of "these were the only nice looking parts on my car before it went to scrap, came with the car so I have no more info." love it.
