Thanks everyone, I hope to have some updates soon.
Some motivation, my truck should look somewhat similar to this one being the patina is close.

I forgot to ask, using an extended cab or standard cab s10 frame? My standard cab seems a little short for my swap. And then I probably need the 4x4 rear end to fill out the wheel wells and for a torsion diff.

bad reference image..but its all I have at the moment.
Keep it up manl ig:coltondk l youtube:coltondk I DD: Tundra I Projects:l 06 STI I 87 S10 l I 57 Chevy Belair I I 48' International KB-2 I 07R6r l

Im using a standard cab longbed frame, if your truck is a short bed it will be too short. And yes exactly, 4x4 rear end to help fill out the fenders.Originally posted by drifte View PostI forgot to ask, using an extended cab or standard cab s10 frame? Damn, I guess I should update this haha.
Roller

Cab back on the chassis for a test fit

Front control arms cut, plated, welded to get the front to lay out completely.

Support from the pup

Front bags in and finished up. Clip on for a test fit

Lays out pretty hard

Found a killer deal on the perfect donor vehicle for the drivetrain. Decided against the traditional SBC and went with an 04 1ton express van with a healthy 6.0 LQ4 and 2WD 4l80e (freshly rebuilt). Had no brakes and the guy wanted out of it. Towed it on home. Pretty sketchy on an 18ft trailer.

Easiest way to pull the motor/trans haha

Frame out, motor out.

Motor back in the shop for tear down

Next up is making the harness stand alone on a 4 fuse 2 relay setup. Then regasket the whole motor, add the TSP 228r cam, valve train upgrades and into the truck it goes for a test fit.Last edited by NickL; 11-17-2015, 10:53 PM.BagRiders
