howde, good progress so far. I always wanted to tdi my jetta befor she was crashed into :/.... ended up ditching the vr6 for my 3 door mk2 for a tdi (i bought another toy and wanted mk2 as daily again)..... its in 2 many bits still and hasnt seen the road for 5 year :P.... loved you other halfs van followed the build on edition.

I always wanted to TDI my Corrado as well.

Happy I can finally get it in something and I loved my old Jetta so when Chris found this one I knew it was perfect.

Yeah I miss his van think he does too.

His is the GOlf in the pic above that he is building.

Decided that I can't keep chasing perfection, I'm not after a show winning car so finally whacked the paint on





Gotta get bolts and bushes ordered and get it sat back on 4 wheels again :wub:

SO it has been what feels like forever, and looking at the car not that much has changed.



I have been a little bitch over the winter and opted for going to the warm gym instead of the freezing cold barn.

At one point Chirs told me he was there and was around -2c - No way I am enduring that :lol:

The bay is pretty much ready to paint now, just need to quickly go over once more as Chris has to "Engineer" the bulkhead so that the manual medal box from a passat sits flush as there was a rather large gap before. Bit it not sits lovely, and thanks to his panel beating skills there isn't a mess where it looks like someone has just gone mad with a hammer :lol:



Test a little bit of paint, just too cold for full paint at the moment



I had taken the wings off, prepped them, indicators and ariel to be smoothed out





Got the full loom out which still needs sorting and everything stripping that isn't needed, which is just a MARE of a job



Next few things to tackle, getting bits on the Engine together, and to sort this mare out



Just need to face the cold and get the hell on with it - Not that I am massively happy with it :lol: :lol:

The van was, I miss it already and I know he does too!

Its not nice at the moment as slowly being taken back to pretty much a bare shell.

I just want it finished :'(
