Fitted 195/40's instead of the poop 205/40's. BIG difference, lowered the front more. Got the back sitting like this..

Front can't go any lower due to the wheels now touching the chassis legs. Backs are being spaced out 5mm to bring them flush with the arch.

Gave my local Allwoods Autmotive shop a call to see if they had any spacers in stock for my fitment. BINGO, 6mm spacers, perfect.

Picked them up after work and fit them straight away onto the rears.

        Result..

Flush with tyre and rim poking a few mm.

I've been really disappointed with the fronts and how they sit, I'm not a fan of tuck on mk3's and i was tucking about 5mm so decided to do something quite drastic. I couldn't space them out as my arches were in the way and can't go any lower in order to 'hide' it so, well i'll let the photo's do the talking..

So yeah drove back and picked up another set of 6mm spacers. They are sitting flush with the arch now.. Obviously made some arch modifications to stop it rubbing any more when wheels are turned.

awesome mkIII, love everything you've done to it, wheels suit it perfectly and I'm not usually a fan of vento fronts but this one pulls it off.

                ... Apparently I require a chassis notch.

Hawt mk3 dude...just a quick question, is that a custom cold air? because I've never seen one for a 16v.

Nah just an OMP direct fit one. Ebay it.

Lowered it more at the back thanks to a full interior in again. Photo's really ain't doing it justice in my opinion.

                              Thanks lads.

Back needs to go lower yet, another 5mm will make me happy. Need to make some bumpstops up though as the lip of the wheel is killing my rear arch.
