Not really. It all depends on who you are talking about. My brother for example has a 12 gauge shotgun and always keeps it locked up and out of sight because he knows it can be dangerous if it gets in the wrong hands. But someone from, Lets say a less educated part of the US will think less of how dangerous guns are if they get into the wrong hands (a.k.a. childrens hands) All im trying to say is that not everyone in the US is a gun toting hillbilly who thinks nothing of others safety.Originally posted by Smeeeb View PostMerica' where guns are toys.

As you can see stamped into the barrel; it's a .40.Originally posted by SnazzyQ View PostIs that a 9mm or a .45?
I've gone through classes to be able to conceal it. It's not a toy.Originally posted by Smeeeb View PostMerica' where guns are toys.

While the .40 is stamped into the barrel the picture shows it stamped into the slide, not the barrel. I'm sure that was just a typo on your part. I have a gen4 Glock 19. Same size just 9mm. Never had a hiccup with it.Originally posted by Cadaverous View PostAs you can see stamped into the barrel; it's a .40.

Yes, you're correct. I almost went with a 19, but am planing on putting a 9mm barrel in the 23 and having the best of both worlds.Originally posted by pDubs View PostWhile the .40 is stamped into the barrel the picture shows it stamped into the slide, not the barrel. Started sectioning my struts yesterday. I totally buggered up the ball joint. I couldn't get it out and after about an hour of trying to get it out I just ended up hammering it with a 5 pound hammer as hard as I could. So I guess I'll be getting new control arms/bushings.
Here is some of the sectioning process. My hands were really dirty and covered in metal filings so I didn't take too many photos.
I ground down with a floppy disk everywhere before I welded so I could get good penetration. I welded all the way around obviously. I was taking photos while the metal cooled after a weld.
