  • Email TunerShop and see if they can't build you some custom lips and barrels. They're not the cheapest dudes out there, but they got me the custom built 4/5" outer lips for the Equips in 4 weeks. From Germany.

I ended up finding a guy that can have them built and ready for me in LA by the end of March so I may just go back to my original epsilon plan! And of course this is after i dump a few hundred into custom polishing and brushing on the Ac Schnitzers.

      • Not much to update today.

Sold the ESM wheels ....got a good deal on some Rial Imola Race wheels up and refurbished them. 18x10 4.5" lip 18x8.5 3" lip

I still have my AC Schnitzer type 1 and epsilons sitting on the back burning waiting for $$

        I'm a wheel hoarder.

I'm trying to find 3 more of these 2 inch valves if anyone knows of where I can find them.

        • Black Forest Industries might have those valve stems.

            No luck with them either.

Contacted over a dozen valve stem manufacturers, wheel specialists and tire shops with no luck so I'm having the valve hole sealed up and making a new one for regular valves.

            • Well i got the wheels mounted and was pretty damn disappointed.

I didn't take into consideration how bright my blue is and so they just clash together so back to the AC Schnitzer I go.

I think the wheels are beautiful but this is not the look I had in mind

              • A little update.

I busted my a$$ to get the car put together for Mfest IX Las Vegas. Picked up BMW Turbine wheels the day before(my original wheel build got pushed back again), mounted my spoiler, ZIP Tied the euro front bumper and hit the road at 5am(no sleep) to meet up with the Los Angeles caravan to Las Vegas for Mfest.

10 miles into the drive, I see a huge puff of white smoke in my rear view. FML

Luckily there was a shop off of the nearest exit

Checking compression and plugs tonight but I'm pretty sure it's the head gasket since water was pouring out of the tailpipe.

                    Thank you!

I will be swapping them out soon but have a pretty cool plan with the turbine faces.

                        • Sorry, this is probably the slowest build thread ever!!

I ended up having a nice size hole in my head so I just decided to pickup a low mile Euro m30 with the plans to just swap it in. My conscious told me to rebuild while I already had it out of the car so I've taken it apart and sent everything off to the machine shop. I should be getting it back next week and starting the rebuild...I have no clue what I'm doing so wish me luck!

Ohh and then I got my Wheels!

While the car was up on jack stands I decided I might as well go ahead and bag it. Here's the kit I had made.

I started getting wild 18x11" 3 piece M-system ideas and then this happened.........

I don't know which wheels to run on my shark but I've been getting dirty thoughts of buying an e34 M5 so I might have another home for my 18" M-Systems!

                          • I saw your post on IG with the M Systems. They look so good. I love that you'll be able to switch fans and t stars with them, as well as lips/barrels. So much adjustability. Haha.
