Ahhh this makes me want another one

I had a '99 C2 for a couple of years... super reliable, efficient, and fantastic driving car for the money.

    Love those good old 996s

    Two things I would do:
    - delete the rear wiper
    - paint the calipers

Supseb's Porsche 911 Build *PIC HEAVY*

I'll start this off with saying that its not much of a build, just more of a timeline of where i take the car. I've always wanted a 911 ever since I was a kid. When I was old enough to know/care about cars, the 996 was the current generation. So, I told myself I would own one as soon as possible. That time finally came about 2 months ago in April. I flew up to Atlanta, GA and drove my 911 back home to Miami, FL. It's a 1999 Carrera 2 that was previously owned by a PCA member who used it as a daily/track car so it came with Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers and GT3 control arms. Maintenance is paramount, which is why I bought this car. The maintenance list goes on longer than my eyes can handle reading, lol.

Here are some pics from the first day I got it

Soon after, the car went to the body shop where they added a subtle looking front lip, I love it.

While at the body shop, I started gathering parts. Picked up a set of Recaro Pole Position seats with everything needed to mount them locally. Also picked up a set of HRE 545's as temporary wheels until I decide on what 3pc wheel I want custom made. Only thing is these HRE's are meant to fit aggressively on a widebody car, lol. I'll make them fit.

Mounted the seats and test fitted the wheels and instantly fell in love again. + some nice pics from my photographer buddy. Wheels are 18x8 fronts with a 225/40/18 and 18x11 rears with a 285/35/18. Clearly that 285 rear was not going to fly.

Got to work with the essentials: stretched tires 18x11 (265/35/18) and my buddy @fantasticsarcastic did a great job on rolling my fenders

Spun the coils down and threw the wheels on, here are some quick iPhone shots/rollers. Things are starting to look good!

Took it to its first meet Stance Miami meet in Ft. Lauderdale

This is where I am at now. Stay tuned for more updates I'm also posting this stuff on my IG: @supseb
