Need to seal the underside this weekend, and also make a way to hold the boards down. Its been raining here and some expansion happened and the boards popped out of place. My super boring build http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...other-M3-buildInsta Mintyhinrichs

Well needed to add some straps due to the wood expanding from water...my fit was a little too tight anyway so also shaved one board down a little bit. Going to add a few more then figure out how to get to the battery easily just incase.
This weekend or tomorrow I will be doing the front inner fenders after my friend and I hit the junk yard for a few parts and maybe a rear bumper.

This weekend ran to the local junk yard to find a bumper, but didn't think ahead enough to bring something to lay on. I found the perfect bumper I want but ill need to borrow a sawzall to just cut the brackets off and get some new ones. I like the roll pan but would rather have a bumper I feel.
Spent a good portion of Saturday working on the front inners, they are not perfect since I had to deal with the cuts from the po which made it a little more challenging to weld, but it worked and they fit well. I do need to come up with a solution for the coolant overflow however since I am finally driving it everyday, a water bottle is what I have right now, and it kind of works.

This is really cool, and the latter rack is genius. Paint looks pretty damn good for a roll-on job!
It's a work in progress^

Im starting to get tired of looking at it, but I do actually use it for hauling pipe home from work when I need to make stuff. Its not just for show however the ladder is so Ill prolly pull that off soon. I do like the GMC grill but Its not in the budget yet.Originally posted by fifty3bags View PostLooks good man, but I'm not a fan of the ladder rack. Really like what you did with the bed. I think you should do a GMC grille conversion, I've always liked the open grilles of the GMC to the chrome bar of the Chevy grille
Thanks man, yeah the paint turned out decent. I wish I could have sprayed it with the same paint since I did that on my old beetle and it turned out perfect, I just didn't have the space to spray the truck and couldn't find anyone who would let me borrow their garage for a few hours sadly.Originally posted by JRodigan View PostThis is really cool, and the latter rack is genius. nothing new other than swapping mirrors on and flares which let me cut out a good amount of metal under them, still need to get the exhaust crossover moved which I don't think will happen before knoedown which sucks, but had a breakdown this weekend which took 3 days to fix. Clutch slave took a crap and had to limp it home. Took a while to bleed it as well.

I was going to do 10s out back but decided to stay more stock for the 15s, really should be on an 17-18 anyway to clear the control arms betterOriginally posted by Earl View PostBanding those wheels are keeping the trim ring would look slick=)
Today exhaust crossover is getting moved so I can get the front lower with a little trimming. At least ill be able to roll at 35 psi now rather than 60My super boring build http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...other-M3-buildInsta Mintyhinrichs
