  • looks like compmotives or th lines to me...if they are th lines and I have a cool secret for you if the lips are the same as were on my modern lines I had once.

      Yep I think about 10-12mm narrower. So it will pull the wheel in about 5-6mm per side. Going to see what a little bit more camber places it at before I go to the mk2 beam.

              Sadly they are not bottle caps.
              I will tell you the specs until this evening.
              Front- 16x8.5 et24 (with 2.5" lips)
              Rear- 16x9.5 et12 (with 3.5" lips)

              • Just to add to my future mk3 knowledge incase matt or chad talk me into finally getting another one, does the mk2 beam bolt right up? or is that only for a 4 lug ?

                  I hope Matty and Chad both talk you into buying another one.
                  It bolts right up on a mk3, brakes and all. I just know you have to watch depending if you have abs or not. In my case I need one that has a mounting point for the proportioning valve since I'm non abs.

                  • ah okay, never messed with the rear beam before other than just putting in some of the mason tech plates to re-center the axle lol...wow what a throwback that is

                          • I've been holding off from reading this thread for a reason , well after Reading all 5 pages .... I want another mk3 now . Kudos to doing something different ! I love it man , and the new wheels look like they are gonna be TITS.
