so first update in a few months. I've been super busy and have had minimal time to work on the car. although I have got a few things accomplished.

to start the interior was nasty.

        [IMG][/IMG]

so due to the lack of money I have I stripped the carpet.

I started making an aluminum floor pan.

        and it somewhat finished.

        [IMG][/IMG]

it sill needs some minor work but that will do for now.

so then my dad had the idea to replace the fiberglass piece in the quarter panel with metal. So we drew up a plan and this is what w got as a result.

        [IMG][/IMG]

and we also mad a scoop for the new side panel.

oh yea.. I also got these borbet type t's from my brothers Porsche.

          [IMG][/IMG]

so I've been spending some time polishing the wheels, and playing with camber and ride height to try to get a good stance.

I LOVE the fact that this is all being done at home and completely custom! Refreshing to see someone go at making flares etc themselves rather than buying generic plastic ones and making em fit.

Keep up the good work buddy!

I've made some pretty good progress in these past couple weeks. I got the side scoop all welded up and seam sealed so it could be welded on.

am super happy with how the quarter panel is coming together. its a very long difficult process. hopefully from here it will just need a few tweaks to look good.

for Christmas I got these badass Sabelt gt140 racing seats.

                  [IMG][/IMG]

so I had to modify the stock mr2 seat rails so I could bolt up the seats.

                  [IMG][/IMG]

and test mount. I also bought a momo wheel off my brother

                  [IMG][/IMG]

                  and both seats mounted

                  [IMG][/IMG]

I was looking on craigslist and found some clean carpet and door panels .

                  [IMG][/IMG]

replaced the old bulbs with leds in my gauges. looks much cleaner.
