Haven't got much done for e30. Only ordered some little parts and sewed the m-tech II wheel back together.
That's because I was going to test e30 at the new track in my home town, but I didn't get it ready for that. So I went with my daily e36. Only changed the brake fluids to motul brf600 and oil to 5w-50. Still everything worked and I had lots of fun. Even the stock brakes were enough, although they got really hot:
And the paint in wheels didn't handle that heat:
Some pics:
And some laps filmed with GoPro:

Sucks about the paint but looks like you had fun=) Are you just going to repaint that one orange or are you going to do a color change?

I know it can for sure=) I have 10's on the rear of my compact and have at least another inch wider I can go with my barrels.

Damn, the e30 doesn't still work*Cylinder pressures are leaking to cooling system, when there is some stress to the engine. The engine was supposed to be fine, but it isn't. I need to get the head off, check the condition/machine it and change head gasket. Before i can do that, I have one show next weekend, where I have to take it.
None the less I still built the boost control for the engine. For that I needed pressure outlet from charge pipe:
And then added VW n75 valve to control boost and the valve is driven by megasquirt. I'm not going to use some stupid old bleed valve
And finally I manged to get the steering wheel done. The leather was in ok condition, but threads were gone. I had to sew it back together:
And some VHT vinul paint and it's done:
looks a bit better than the original:
And the whole interior is now just perfect:

I absolutely love the quality of this build, literally from start to finish! Sucks about not getting the car to run right but I'm sure you'll get that fix!
Also, I just started following you on Instagram.sigpic

I'm going to keep the m52 intake manifold. I'm not going for such grazy horsepower numbers so that it would come restriction. And with m52 intake + vanos will give me lots of low-end torque.
Just ordered athena cooper ring headgasket, because i'm not going to install new stock one, when I take the head off.

Nah, the facelift look is much better
Last weekend was Hifi and Tuning Show where the car had to be towed:
There were little problems, but still we got the car on display.
I even got a trophy.
Few pics:
Yesterday I took head off. it took only about 1,5 hours to do
At least the number 3 has been leaking and also the 2. But the 4 and 5 don't look fine either.
I didn't find any cracks so I will just take that to machine shop, to be refurbished.
