Today was productive!

I popped my cherry on pulling a motor, and damn does it feel good!

Then shit got real, real fast.

Once we loosely checked the compression, we decided we would pull the head and see what we were working with here. Which quickly turned into basically pulling everything apart. Like everything minus the crank and water pump

In a nutshell I'm doing a rebuild...not what I wanted, but there was some scaring on some bearings and I guess I'm gonna run a decently large cam.






My dad is a neat freak, as you can probably tell from the walls and overall cleanliness of the shop. He's gonna be pissed when he finds out how much oil and coolant in on his floor now

It's all good though, nothing I can't use 3500 psi to clean up

Now the top end it soaking in parts cleaner



I really hope that tote can handle that nasty shit. If not, I'm gonna be buying two new motorcycle tires very soon I'm heading back tomorrow afternoon to try and finish up the head, pistons and everything else. Then it's time for a little paint.

I need to order, rings, cam, gasket set, and if funds allow a nice set of pistons.
